Improper production process will lead to unqualified food packaging
Recently, the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau found that a group of composite bags (PE/PA) detected evaporative residues (n-heptane, 25 degrees Celsius, 1 hour) which exceeded the standard requirements of importing countries (Japan), resulting in unqualified.
In the process of investigation, the inspectors began to check the source of the raw materials according to the routine, checked the accounts repeatedly and exchanged with the relevant personnel of the enterprise, but the enterprise reflected that the raw materials used in the production of the product had not changed, and the last cycle test was also qualified. After further investigation and analysis, Yuyao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau finally found that the unqualified reason was due to improper production technology, which led to unqualified food packaging inspection items. This phenomenon was the first time found in food packaging inspection. Because of the faults of production equipments and instruments, the ripening process of composite membranes was less than 48 hours (actually only 24 hours and automatically stopped ripening), and the compounding of finished products did not meet the required requirements, which resulted in the value of evaporation residue (n-heptane, 25 degrees Celsius, 1 hour) exceeding the requirements of the importing country (Japan) standard. In the production process is not in place, rather than the raw material composition causes. After finding out the reason, the enterprise re-ripens according to the regulations and sends the samples to the technical center for testing. The results show that the evaporation residue (n-heptane, 25 degrees Celsius, 1 hour) index meets the requirements of the importing country's standards, thus eliminating the worries of unqualified factors from raw materials. At present, Yuyao Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has urged enterprises to carry out unqualified rectification.
Product production process is the basis for improving product quality and product performance. Therefore, the inspection and quarantine department reminds relevant export enterprises that they should firmly establish the consciousness of "product quality first responsible person", pay attention to improving product production process, continuously optimize product performance, and organize production strictly in accordance with the standards of importing countries. At the same time, enterprises should strengthen communication and communication with inspection and quarantine departments. For small and medium-sized enterprises with relatively weak evaluation ability of process design, they can effectively evaluate product design with the technical strength of inspection and quarantine departments to ensure the quality of export products.
